We met Ah May on Saturday!!! So happy to see her again. Haven’t met since 9 years ago at Sis’s place and those days where we play ‘masak masak’ is like more than 10 years liaos! Those days where we sit at the door and play paper dolls, loiter at the playground at 513, play with candles during mid-autumn, going out with ‘guys’, went to Sentosa, Asian Village etc… All the memories! So much fun!

There’s definitely plenty to catch up cuz we haven’t met for so long.
Mum was there too, initially thought will be kinda awkward, cuz Mum around mah. But actually it wasn’t awkward at all, Mum helped us refresh some of our lost memories too. Haha. She can remember certain things that we can’t.

I’m like 3 years younger than them, so I was the small girl those days, always want to tag along with the 2 big sisters. And they find me a hassle I think. Haha. Cuz I always want to follow them and they have to take care of me. I’m like the ‘unwanted child’. Haha.

I must go and dig out our old photos. haha. Think there’s like a few hiding somewhere in the storeroom.

Ah May couldn’t really remember bro cuz we kinda lost contact when Mum gave birth to Bro. Very vauge impression.

Now Sis’s a mother of 2 boys and May’s mother of 2 girls.We talked about Dad and she say Dad probably forgot her already.
But NO! Dad still remember her. Haha. Sometimes Dad will ask me if QY is Ah May. Haha. Or if I’m going to meet Ah May. I told Dad about her yesterday and Dad wants to meet her soon too. Cuz really donkey years never meet liao, and she’s really our childhood friend.

I asked if anyone remembers how we get to know each other and became such close friends. But nobody can recall, Mum said it’s because we used to take the same lifts etc.. But how come we became so close huh? Can play everyday. Haha.

Ah May told me she felt that I look quite mature on my photos but looking at me in real, she feels that I’m still the small girl. Haha. Shall take that as a compliment. Haha.

She bought me and Sis a small souvenir too, we didn’t get anything for her. ‘Pai seh’. Will get her something the next time we meet.

Darling send us to Novena and he came back and pick me up after the dinner for movie at J8 with ZG and Ashley.
Red Cliff.

I like the movie! 2.5 hours but I’m not even checking my watch. I heard the total movie is around 5 hours but they separated it into 2 parts. So, we still have to wait for perhaps end of the year or next year to watch part 2. The highlights of the movie, which is the war of the Red Cliff is only screened in part 2. So shall wait.

I’m not a Three Kingdoms person, I dun really know the exact plot, and maybe that’s why I enjoyed the movie so much. Cuz I heard you can’t keep comparing the movie with the book.

Despite him being kinda sissy in the movie, he’s still very very very attractive. Haha. Most of the humor in the movie came from him and Zhou Yu (Tony Leung).

Heard that Tony Leung is supposed to be Zhu Ge Liang initially and Chow Yun Fatt as Zhou Yu. But due to some reasons Tony Leung resigned from the movie but came back again and he became Zhou Yu.
I think he would be a better choice as compared to Chow Yun Fatt cuz Chow’s kinda old for Zhou Yu, isn’t it?

I like Zhang Fei and Guan Yu too. Hehe. I find the Guan Yu really look like Guan Yu loh. Everytime I see him, I feel like very… Wah… Haha.
But the part where they have this ‘ba(1) gua(4)zheng(4)’ is like so funny. I admire the formation but I find it funny for the main characters to appear one by one. It’s like so drama. But I can practically feel the excitement when I’m watching that scene.

Cao Cao

Can’t wait to see him fail.

Sun Quan

Somehow I think he dun really suit this character, cuz I felt instead of the ’shen(1) chang(1) bu(4) lu(4)’ he seems more like a ‘hun(1) jun(1)’. Like a weakling.

Liu Bei is the ‘yi(3) de(2) fu(2) ren(2)’ kind of leader. He might not be good at war tactics or leading soldiers but he’s a kind and benevolent king. I have yet to see him fight or do anything much yet, hopefully can see some in part 2.

The other 2 characters that I like. Zhao Zi Long and Gan Ning. But think Gan Ning died in Part 2.

I kinda like Zhao Wei in the movie too. She’s like the ‘Hua Mu Lan’, and because of her, there’s laughters too.

The one character that I totally dun like and cannot stand will be Ling Zhiling as Xiao Qiao!!!

Instead of Zhao Wei being the vase, I think she fits the bill more. She’s really like a super duper big VASE in the movie.

Actually it’s kinda disappointing cuz when I thought it’s the climax, the movie ended with ‘To be continued’, abit anti climax loh. And I have to wait for dunno when then can watch the Part 2.

I’m so damn sleepy today. Probably cuz of the cough syrup yesterday, it’s really super strong cuz I felt drowsy not long after taking the cough syrup. I can feel the whole room spinning around me and when I lie down I’m like in a daze and felt super giddy that kind. But I had a good sleep, not enough though. Think the medicine is still in my system, therefore I’m so drowsy now.
The last weekend was kinda hectic, cuz like packed with ‘activities’. Friday I had a company dinner at Jumbo Clarke Quay than we went Lunar after dinner. Darling came and pick me and drop Wendy too. I think W and I is like abit siao siao one. Haha.
I dun have photos for that night cuz I forgot to bring my camera despite Darling reminding me!!! But Deb took qujit abit of photos, shall wait for her to upload them.

I dropped my shawl too, think it’s probably on my way to meet Darling and it slipped off my bag without me realizing. I believe someone would have saw me dropping it but just cannot be bothered to be a nice Samaritan to pass it back to me.
Been like close to 2 years plus 3 since I last club. Haha. Long long ago.

I want to nuai at home this weekend with a packet of lays in hand and chipsters beside me and chocolates strewn around me!
